The article goes into more detail on the overall theme of the season being about “dual-identities” and how Clark’s new occupation will lead to his overall profession.

The San Diego Comic Con staff has been announcing all of the scheduled panels throughout the day and so we now have the official date and time of the Smallville panel at Comic Con!
The Smallville panel will be held Sunday, July 27th, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
And with that welcome news, we here at SHoE are breathing a collective sigh of relief. We were losing sleep wondering whether or not our Podcast panel would conflict with the Smallville panel, and thankfully we DO NOT conflict with any of the headlining panels at Comic Con this year, including panels for our other shows, Heroes and Terminator!

It has been confirmed, Justin Hartley will return to Smallville in season 8, as a series regular. That’s right, E! Online’s Kristin Dos Santos is reporting that in season 8 The Green Arrow will appear in 15+ episodes.
It seems as though Oliver’s story arc will deal with his past rather than his identity as the Green Arrow. At any rate this is great news for Smallville fans.

Well, it’s the summertime here at SHoE, & that means several things, including a lot less traffic here at the site due to a certain lack of news regarding Smallville & Superman goings on. We’re going to be bringing you random posts over the summer to keep some interest alive, keep you smiling, & keep you coming back for more. They may not always be comic related, but they’re definitely something that we enjoyed and felt like sharing with you.
One thing I’ve been watching over the past few weeks over at Flickr is the troopies365 project. Project365 is where you take an image, every day, for a year - and in this instance it’s LEGO Star Wars Stormtrooper figures in amazing situations. We enjoy keeping an eye on it, and hopefully you will too. Check it out here.

Season seven has now come to a close, and was one of the biggest (if not short-lived) seasons in Smallville
history. There’s all kinds of discussions about Veritas, the Traveler, the “Omegaheddron”, Michael Rosenbaum’s farewell performance, and “Arctic” in general over at our forums so why not jump in now and get the ball rolling on your thoughts for season 8, which will premiere late September on the CW.
In the mean time, don’t forget you can pick up your season 7 DVD’s on standard definition and BluRay that will release just in time for the 8th season in mid-September, with 20 episodes, deleted scenes, documentaries, and episode commentary. Also, your order will help support this site so it’s win-win!
